Description
White Haven Borough would like to notify residents that Chemung Street, from Cherry Street to Hazle Street, will be closed beginning Thursday, September 10, 2026, for drainage improvements and paving.
During construction, this section of Chemung Street will be open to local residents only who live within the affected area. All other motorists are asked to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
The project is expected to take approximately four weeks from start to finish, depending on weather conditions and construction progress.
We understand that road construction can be an inconvenience and greatly appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation while these much-needed improvements are completed.
