The Department of Public Works is continuing storm recovery efforts today. Please note the following:

Cascade Road between Bevington and Edgewood Roads is closed to through traffic.
- There are downed power lines in this area. Do not attempt to pursue clearing brush in the barricaded areas.

The steps connecting Kenmore and Berkley Aves are closed until further notice due to a downed tree.

If you have branches or brush from Borough trees, those within the Borough right of way, please move the branches as close to the roadway as safely possibly for you to do so and report to the Borough offices. Public works will collect these branches and brush on Tuesday, September 8th.

The Municipal Building is open from 9AM - 12:30PM today, Friday, September 4th, if you have questions or concerns. There are also options here to charge devices for those experiencing power outages.

The C.C. Mellor Library - Forest Hills Branch is open tomorrow, Saturday, September 5th from 10AM - 5PM for additional charging needs or access to the internet.

Additional resources will be assessed as more information is available from Duquesne Light Company (DLC) regarding power outages. If you are experiencing a power outage and have not yet reported it to DLC, you can do so using their outage map at: https://duquesnelight.com/outages-safety/current-outages

As a reminder, the Borough offices are closed Saturday - Monday due to the Labor Day holiday, if you are experiencing an emergency contact 911. If you need to report an issue that can be resolved at a later time, please leave a message and someone will be in contact with you upon our return on Tuesday.
