Flash Flood Warning issued September 4 at 4:47AM EDT until September 4 at 5:45AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 447 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding from recent
thunderstorms that produced heavy rainfall in the warned area.
Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will
continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, McMurray, Weirton, Washington,
Canonsburg, Gastonville, Baldwin, Upper St. Clair, Scott Township,
Whitehall, South Park Township, Cecil-Bishop, Jefferson Hills,
Castle Shannon, Pleasant Hills, Clairton, Bridgeville and Toronto.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
