Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 3 at 6:51PM EDT until September 3 at 7:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 651 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
over West Newton to 8 miles southeast of East Washington, or along a
line from 11 miles south of McKeesport to 8 miles southeast of
Washington, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Bethel Park, McMurray, Uniontown, Connellsville, Gastonville,
Baldwin, South Park Township, Jefferson Hills, Pleasant Hills,
Monessen, Clairton, California, Donora, Scottdale, Monongahela,
Charleroi, Masontown and West Newton.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
