* Until 600 PM EDT.
* At 512 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
over Knox to 9 miles south of Slippery Rock, or along a line from
over Knox to 12 miles northwest of Butler, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Butler, Kittanning, Knox, Rimersburg, Homeacre-Lyndora,
Shanor-Northvue, Meridian, Slippery Rock, Ford City, Meadowood, Oak
Hills, New Bethlehem, West Kittanning, Prospect, Chicora, East
Brady, Harrisville, Parker and Plain Grove Township.
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
