Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 3 at 4:44PM EDT until September 3 at 5:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 444 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Franklin to over Oakwood, or along a line from near Franklin to
near New Castle, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
New Castle, Hermitage, Sharon, Grove City, Franklin, Sharpsville,
Farrell, Slippery Rock, New Wilmington, Oakwood, New Castle
Northwest, Mercer, Pulaski, Stoneboro, New Bedford, Harrisville,
West Middlesex and Polk.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
