NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VILLAGE PARKS AND BALLFIELDS
Village of Lyndonville
Due to storm damage sustained on September 2, 2026, including downed trees, standing water, and other hazardous conditions, the following Village facilities are closed to the public until further notice:
Fisherman's Park (behind the Fire Hall)
Lake Avenue Ballfields
Patterson Park (behind the Town Hall)
Veterans Park (next to the Yates Community Library)
This temporary closure is necessary to protect public safety while Village personnel assess damage and perform cleanup and restoration activities.
Residents and visitors are requested to stay out of these areas until the Village determines that conditions are safe for public use.
A reopening notice will be issued once the parks and ballfields have been inspected, repaired as necessary, and reopened to the public.
The Village appreciates your patience and cooperation during this recovery effort.
