Special Weather Statement issued September 3 at 12:50AM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 1250 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms over East Petersburg, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Lancaster, York, Ephrata, Elizabethtown, Columbia, Lititz,
Middletown, Millersville, Willow Street, Mount Joy, Red Lion, New
Holland, Spry, Manheim, East Petersburg, Dallastown, Akron, Shiloh,
East York and Leola.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 83 between mile markers 1 and 36. The Pennsylvania
Turnpike between mile markers 249 and 253...and between mile markers
268 and 295.

Seek shelter inside a building.
