Flash Flood Warning issued September 2 at 11:38PM EDT until September 3 at 3:30AM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Erie County in northwestern Pennsylvania...

* Until 330 AM EDT.

* At 1138 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Erie, Corry, North East, Union City, Girard, Waterford, Wattsburg,
Northwest Harborcreek, Harborcreek, Lawrence Park, Wesleyville,
Lake City, Platea, McKean, Elgin, Northwest Harborcr and Avonia.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
