Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 2 at 7:40PM EDT until September 2 at 8:15PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 740 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over East Branch
Dam, or 7 miles northeast of Johnsonburg, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
St. Marys, Emporium, Roulette, Betula, Wilcox, Elk River, Truman,
Sizerville, Keating Summit, East Branch Dam and Austin.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
