Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 1 at 7:15PM EDT until September 1 at 7:45PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 715 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wyomissing, or
near Reading, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Sinking Spring, Honey Brook,
Elverson, New Morgan, Spring Ridge, Shillington, West Reading, Mount
Penn, Mohnton, Kenhorst, St. Lawrence, Wyomissing Hills, West Lawn,
Lorane, Reiffton, Whitfield, and West Wyomissing.
This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 296 and 305.
Interstate 176 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 1 and 11.
