North central Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 745 PM EDT.
* At 656 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Spring Ridge,
or near Reading, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to
roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
* Locations impacted include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Sinking Spring, Laureldale,
Wernersville, Leesport, Honey Brook, Elverson, New Morgan, Spring
Ridge, Fairview Hgts, Shillington, West Reading, Mount Penn,
Mohnton, Kenhorst, St. Lawrence, West Lawn, and Lorane.
This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 296 and 305.
Interstate 176 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 1 and 11.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
