Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 1 at 6:43PM EDT until September 1 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 643 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Reading, moving
southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Sinking Spring, Laureldale, Leesport, Bernville,
Fairview Hgts, Spring Ridge, Shillington, West Reading, Mount Penn,
Mohnton, Kenhorst, St. Lawrence, Centerport, Wyomissing Hills, West
Lawn, Reiffton, Whitfield, and West Wyomissing.
This includes Interstate 176 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 8
and 11.
