Description
A friendly reminder that utility bills are due on the 15th of each month, or the next business day if the 15th falls on a weekend or City holiday (This month utility bills are due on September 15th). A 10% late penalty fee will be applied at the end of the business day on the due date. The final day to make payment is on the 24th of each month, or the next business day if the 24th falls on a weekend or City holiday (This month the final day to make payment is September 24th). Failure to pay may result in a $50 reconnect fee applied to your account at the end of the business day on the final day to pay, as well as a disconnection of services. Service disconnection will occur on the following business day (Disconnection this month will occur on September 25th).
More ways to pay your utility bill. Using the bill you received in the mail, you may scan the QR code for Scan to Pay, which will take you directly to your utility account payment portal. You may pay online at Stamfordtexas.gov using your account number found on your mailed utility bill. You may pay your bill in person at Stamford City Hall with multiple payment methods, including cash, card, and check. You can also use the utility payment drop box located on the side of City Hall, with a check placed in an envelope with your name and address written on it.
