CRIME WATCH REPORT FOR AUGUST 2026:
Area 1- Coordinator- Tara Fox
8-05-26. An occupied vehicle on S. Emily St. was struck by a white GMC pick-up truck that fled the area.
8-27-26. A residence on Marion St. had a small sign in their yard vandalized.
Area 2 – Coordinator-Sandy Gibson
8-10-26. Two packages that were delivered to a Union Ave. address were reported to have been stolen.
Area 3– Coordinator- (Vacant)
8-06-26. An unsecured bicycle was stolen from the library by a black male.
8-27-26. An unsecured bicycle was stolen from the library. A possible suspect was seen wearing a teal shirt.
Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman
8-03-26. A firearm was reported to have been stolen from an apartment in the 2000 block of Crafton Blvd.
Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Voye
Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.
8-01-26. A parked vehicle was struck and damaged by an unknown vehicle in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot.
8-10-26. A parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle near Wright’s Gym in the shopping center.
8-20-26. A parked vehicle on Duncan Ave. was struck by a white box truck that turned onto W. Steuben St. and headed
towards the Thornburg Bridge.
8-26-26. An unsecured bicycle was stolen off of Crafton Blvd. near the Alcosan Trail.
Tips/advice:
Parents, please look up the information regarding E-bikes, scooters, mopeds and dirt bikes and educate yourself and your children. Warnings have been issued and enforcement is ramping up with citations. Information can be found on previous Facebook posts by the Crafton PD or by searching online.
We are still in need of one more Crime Watch coordinator. If you are interested, please contact the police department.
Curfew for juveniles (17 years old and younger). Crafton Borough ordinance chapter 94.
11PM-6AM Sunday-Thursday.
12 midnight-6AM Friday-Saturday.
