Description
Washington Township's Peninsula Park now has 3 waterfowl hunting blinds for hunting Canadian geese and various ducks. The blinds are open to the public, by reservatrion only, text 814-602-9851. The blinds were built and managed by local volunteers. The blind on Carlson Point is not permanent and will be removed after the season. The other two blinds are located on a more remote location. Please refer to the map in the pictures for their locations. This is a great opportunity for the local and youth hunters. There will be a special Veteran and youth only Waterfowl hunting Days, Saturday, September 26th and Saturday, January 16th 2027. A bright orange flag will be displayed when hunting is occuring. The blinds face toward the center of the lake and not towards residential properties. All activites will adhere to PA game commission rules.
