Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 28 at 2:16PM CDT until August 28 at 2:45PM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX
At 214 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms was located from
Hobby Airport south to Liverpool. These storms are moving west at
15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Pasadena, Pearland, southwestern League City,
Friendswood, Alvin, South Houston, West University Place, Santa Fe,
Galena Park, Jacinto City, Hitchcock, Manvel, Midtown Houston,
Downtown Houston, Second Ward, South Belt / Ellington, Neartown /
Montrose, Greater Eastwood, Greater Hobby Area, and Greater Third
Ward.
