Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 27 at 7:47PM EDT until August 27 at 8:15PM EDT by NWS Binghamton NY
At 747 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Moosic, or near
Scranton, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Scranton, Dunmore, Moosic, Olyphant, Throop, Moscow, Elmhurst,
Lehigh, Mount Cobb, and Yostville.
