Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 27 at 4:34PM EDT until August 27 at 5:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 434 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Irwin, or near
Jeannette, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Jeannette, Irwin, Manor, Youngwood, North Irwin, Penn,
Arona, Adamsburg, Grapeville, Harrison City and Herminie.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
