Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 22 at 4:52PM EDT until August 22 at 5:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 452 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Harmony
Township, or near Franklin Park, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Ross Township, McCandless Township, Cranberry, Moon Township,
Franklin Park, Aliquippa, Monaca, Hampton Township, Robinson
Township, Economy, Kennedy Township, Ambridge, Wexford, Coraopolis,
Baden, Sewickley, Rochester, Harmony Township and Seven Fields.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
