Description
Public Works crews continue working throughout Town to collect the significant amount of brush, tree limbs, and other vegetative debris resulting from the August 11 storm.
On Monday and Tuesday, crews plan to focus collection efforts in Porter Cove and areas on the south side of town.
Residents in these areas are asked to place storm-related brush and tree limbs at the curb and keep vehicles and other obstructions away from debris piles so crews can safely access them. Refrain from on-street parking as much as possible.
Please also place debris in an area free of overhead obstructions so the grapple truck and other heavy equipment can safely reach the pile.
Due to the extraordinary amount of storm debris throughout Town, collection will take considerable time. Crews will continue working through neighborhoods as quickly and safely as possible, and we greatly appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation during the cleanup process.
