* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northwestern New Castle County in northern Delaware...
Southeastern Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...
Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 530 PM EDT.
* At 449 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Brickerville to Strasburg to near Delta, moving
east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Reading, West Chester, Coatesville, Wyomissing, Downingtown,
Kennett Square, Birdsboro, Oxford, Sinking Spring, Parkesburg, West
Grove, Honey Brook, Elverson, Bechtelsville, and New Morgan.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for northern
Delaware...and southeastern Pennsylvania.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
