Personal trash cans are not approved for pickup

Please be advised that the standard quarterly Forks Township trash and recycle services, allow for ONE TOWNSHIP ISSUED trash can and ONE TOWNSHIP ISSUED recycling can placed out for weekly pickup, unless additonal township cans are purchased and the addtional fee added to the quarterly invoice.
For residents that wish to have additional Township issued cans, there is purchase fee of $80.00 per can and an additional quarterly fee of $33.00 per extra can.
The township has been informed that residents are placing non township issued cans out for pick up.
The contracted trash and recycling hauler for the Township has been instructed to only collect trash and recycling contained within Township issued cans. All trash and recycling placed in personal cans will not be picked up by the vendor.
Extra bag or bulk tags may be puirchased at the muncipal buidling for a one time pickup or contact the staff for more information on purchasing an additonal can and the associated fees.
