Flood Watch issued August 20 at 8:18AM EDT until August 20 at 2:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following
areas, Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson
OH, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble and Tuscarawas, southwest
Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Greene and Washington,
and West Virginia, including the following areas, Brooke, Hancock,
Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio and Wetzel.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Development of narrower bands of heavy rain that slowly train
over the same areas could result in localized flash flooding.
