The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Fairfield County in central Ohio...
Northeastern Pickaway County in central Ohio...

* Until 845 AM EDT.

* At 547 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain
falling across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are
possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Lancaster, Baltimore, Buckeye Lake, Bremen, Millersport,
Pleasantville, Fairfield Beach, Royalton, Lithopolis, Thurston,
Carroll, Rushville, West Rushville, Dumontville, Fairfield County
Airport, State Route 158 at State Route 204, North Berne and Slate
Run Metro Park.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
