Flood Warning issued August 16 at 5:04AM EDT until August 16 at 11:00AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...East Central Fairfield County in central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 504 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
warned area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Baltimore, Bremen, Pleasantville, Carroll, Rushville, West
Rushville and Dumontville.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
