Yesterday we received some potentially GREAT news for our water system.
One of our long‑term goals has been to improve water quality by reducing — and hopefully eliminating — the iron and manganese in our water. This would be accomplished through the installation of a new chlorine system, a water aerator, and new high‑service pumps.
Our pre‑application has officially been moved out of the general pool of applicants and into a group that has a real chance of being funded. Things could still go south and we are not approved yet, but our chances of being awarded are extremely high.
If this moves forward, it would be awesome for our community.
