Flood Warning issued August 11 at 6:58PM EDT until August 12 at 1:00AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall over the last 24
hours has occurred.

* WHERE...The following counties, in Central Ohio, Fairfield and
Hocking.

* WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain flooded or closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 656 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain has fallen over the
last 24 hours. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen this afternoon on
already saturated soils. Flooding impacts will continue, but
no additional rainfall is expected.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Lancaster, Logan, Nelsonville, Bremen, Pleasantville, Hide-A-
Way Hills, Hocking Hills State Park, Starr, Royalton,
Lithopolis, Amanda, Stoutsville, Laurelville, Carroll, Murray
City, Sugar Grove, Rushville, West Rushville, Rockbridge and
Enterprise.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
