Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 10 at 12:08PM EDT until August 10 at 12:45PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 1208 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Shinglehouse to Port Allegany to near St. Marys,
moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Law enforcement.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
St. Marys, Johnsonburg, Cameron, Wharton, Coudersport, Port Allegany,
Emporium, Smethport, Roulette, Shinglehouse, Genesee, and Betula.
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
