Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 10 at 11:36AM EDT until August 10 at 12:00PM EDT by NWS Buffalo NY
At 1136 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near SUNY Fredonia to 8 miles west of Gowanda to 12
miles northwest of Salamanca to 7 miles northwest of Marshburg,
moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Jamestown, Lackawanna, Dunkirk, Fredonia, Hamburg, Salamanca,
Allegany State Park, Evans, Boston, and Eden.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 90 between exits 56 and 59.
Interstate 86 between exits 13 and 23.
