Tomorrow is the first day of school, and our kids will be out early, excited, nervous, and sometimes not paying close attention. Let’s all do our part to keep them safe.
🚍 School Bus Safety — Do’s & Don’ts
DO:
Stop when the bus has its red lights flashing and stop sign out.
Slow down in school zones and watch for crossing guards.
Give buses plenty of space—they make frequent stops.
Stay alert for kids walking or biking near the road.
DON’T:
Don’t pass a stopped school bus—it’s illegal and dangerous.
Don’t speed through neighborhoods or school zones.
Don’t get distracted by phones or devices while driving.
Don’t assume kids see you—always be ready to stop.
