Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 10 at 9:05AM EDT until August 10 at 9:45AM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
At 904 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Macedonia to 7 miles west of Cuyahoga Falls to
near Chippewa Lake, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
damage to trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Akron, Medina, Ravenna, Cuyahoga Falls, Kent, Barberton, Hudson,
Wadsworth, Twinsburg, Tallmadge, Streetsboro, Macedonia, Mogadore,
Garrettsville, Mantua, Stow, Broadview Heights, Aurora, Brecksville,
and Norton.
