Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 9 at 3:16PM CDT until August 9 at 4:30PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL
At 316 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Phoenix, or
over Dolton, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Hammond, Gary, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Calumet City,
Portage, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Chicago Heights, Roseland, East
Chicago, Schererville, Hobart, Burbank, Lansing, Oak Forest, Crown
Point, Harvey, New Lenox, Homer Glen, Highland, Blue Island, Munster,
and Dolton.
