Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 7 at 8:57PM MDT until August 7 at 9:15PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM
At 857 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 11
miles southeast of Tucumcari to 12 miles north of Fort Sumner, moving
southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Quay, Melrose, Grady, House, Ragland, Wheatland, Saint Vrain,
Ranchvale, Broadview and Tolar.
This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 342 and 379.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
