Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 7 at 7:06PM EDT until August 7 at 7:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 706 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Shaler
Township, or over Ross Township, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Penn Hills, Ross Township, McCandless Township, Shaler Township,
Plum, Hampton Township, O'hara Township, West View, Oakmont, Fox
Chapel, Arnold, Tarentum, Millvale, Etna, Sharpsburg, Springdale
and Aspinwall.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
