Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 7 at 3:24PM EDT until August 7 at 3:45PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 324 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Windsor, moving
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Lancaster, York, Columbia, Millersville, Willow Street, Red Lion,
Spry, Dallastown, East York, Stonybrook-Wilshire, Tyler Run-Queens
Gate, and Mountville.
This includes Interstate 83 from mile markers 16 to 18.
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
