Description
Recently, a resident brought it to the attention of the Supervisors that there has been obnoxious burning in the village of Prosperity. This has forced residents to go inside of their homes and close the windows as the smoke caused by this burning has significantly affected the air quality.
The complaint was confirmed by another resident present at the latest Township Board meeting.
Morris Township has a long-standing ordinance which governs burning in the village. The ordinance has been attached for reference.
We ask that you please refrain from violating this ordinance or further action may be required.
