Description
Flood Warning issued August 3 at 6:26AM EDT until August 3 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Pennsylvania, including the
following counties, Bucks and Montgomery.
* WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...It will take several hours for all the water from these
storms to work through local drainage systems in portions of the
warned area.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 624 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Norristown, Phoenixville, Lansdale, West
Norriton, East Norriton, Doylestown, Conshohocken, Hatboro,
Ambler, Collegeville and Narberth.
- This includes the following highways...
Interstate 476 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 15 and
19.
Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 327 and
337.
Northeast Extension between mile markers 21 and 31.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 327 and 346.
