Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 2 at 5:05PM EDT until August 2 at 5:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 505 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Jefferson Boro,
or 7 miles northeast of Waynesburg, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
California, Bentleyville, Brownsville, Fredericktown-Millsboro,
Jefferson Boro, Fairdale, Isabella, Ellsworth, West Brownsville,
Roscoe, Deemston, Cokeburg, Newell, Allenport, Stockdale, Republic,
Marianna, Carmichaels, Beallsville and Rices Landing.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
