Flood Watch issued August 2 at 2:34PM EDT until August 3 at 12:00AM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Ohio, including the following areas, Ashland,
Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Holmes,
Knox, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Marion, Medina, Morrow, Portage,
Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull and Wayne and northwest
Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Crawford, Northern
Erie and Southern Erie.
* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue through this
afternoon and into this evening with locally heavy rainfall
rates likely. Up to half an inch to an inch of additional
rainfall is likely with locally higher amounts possible where
rainfall persists.
