Description
Road Preparation and Milling Work Scheduled to Begin Next Week

Harrison Township residents are advised that road preparation and milling work will begin next week as the first phase of the Township's 2026 Road Paving Program.

Crews will be performing roadway preparation activities, including milling the existing asphalt surface, to prepare roads for final paving. During this work, residents can expect temporary traffic delays, uneven road surfaces, and increased construction activity in the project areas.

To help ensure the work proceeds safely and efficiently, please remember:

Drive slowly through work zones and follow all posted traffic control signs.
Watch for construction equipment and workers.
Be prepared for temporary lane restrictions and short delays.
Use extra caution when walking, biking, or driving on milled road surfaces.
Avoid parking on streets where work is scheduled. Temporary "No Parking" signs will be posted in advance where necessary.

Following the completion of milling and other preparation work, paving operations will begin as weather and scheduling permit. Additional information, including paving dates and affected roadways, will be shared as the project progresses.

We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our residents as we continue investing in Harrison Township's infrastructure. These improvements will provide safer, smoother roads for our community for years to come.
