Southeastern Franklin County in south central Pennsylvania...
West central York County in south central Pennsylvania...
* Until 415 PM EDT.
* At 327 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Chambersburg to Greencastle, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Waynesboro, Gettysburg, Greencastle, Hampton, Carroll Valley, Lake
Meade, Wayne Heights, Mont Alto, Lake Heritage, Rouzerville,
Marion, and Cashtown.
Radar has indicated rotation within these severe thunderstorms.
Although a tornado is not immediately likely, tornadoes can develop
quickly during severe thunderstorms.
This includes Interstate 81 from mile markers 1 to 9.
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
Very heavy rainfall is occurring with these severe thunderstorms, and
may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
