Description
As a reminder to all residents, please make sure your house number is clearly marked on both your trash and recycling totes. This helps identify totes and return them to the correct property if they are moved or misplaced.
We also ask that totes be removed from sidewalks and alleyways promptly after collection. For example, if your trash is picked up on Wednesday morning, your totes should be returned to your property by Wednesday evening.
As we move closer to the winter season, this reminder becomes especially important. Totes left in alleys are at a much greater risk of being damaged during snow removal operations. We do not want to see residents incur the cost and inconvenience of damaged totes, and we know that is not your desire either.
Keeping alleyways clear helps our crews safely and effectively perform snow removal and other maintenance activities throughout the year.
