Seal Coating Update

- There was a bit of a delay from the original Seal-coat, wait three weeks, then Fog seal plan. The resurfacing project and seal coating project didn't line up scheduling wise so we had to wait for them to come back out. Now, Fremont Street and Center Street have been seal coated where they were resurfaced. Suit-Kote is expected to complete the final fog seal on July 31 or during the week of August 1, concluding the 2026 Pavement Preservation Program.

- A contractor has been selected, with on-site work anticipated to begin in mid-to-late August. The $853,000 project is primarily federally funded, $809,000, with the Borough covering the remaining cost.

Buffalo Road Resurfacing & Traffic Signal Reconstruction

PennDOT has selected McCormick Construction for a Route 20 resurfacing project that includes Buffalo Road in Wesleyville. Work will include resurfacing, repairs to sunken manholes, reconstruction of four traffic signals, pedestrian-safety improvements, and safer traffic patterns.
