Monday (beginning at approximately 6 a.m.)
Work will take place at several high-traffic locations:
Elm Avenue & N. Main Street
3rd Street & Walnut Street
5th Street & E. Montgomery Avenue
Motorists should expect traffic delays and possible road closures
Tuesday
8th Street & Walnut Street
Completion of the remaining paving work.
After next week, the project will be entering its final phase. The remaining work includes concrete restoration, final paving on 8th Street between E. Montgomery Avenue and Church Street, along with yard restoration.
NWWA is grateful for the patience and understanding of Borough residents throughout this project.
This work is a critical investment in the Borough's wastewater infrastructure. Reducing inflow and infiltration helps prevent excess stormwater from entering the sewer system, reducing the risk of overflows, protecting local waterways, and helping to control long-term operating costs.
