Description
Please see the attached flier issued by the FBI concerning a growing trend in scam and phishing emails. The scammers pose as local government officials and try to collect illegal fees for permits, fines, etc.
Residents should be advised not to use the contact information or payment links contained in a suspicious message. Instead, they should contact the municipality through information published on its official website or other established materials.
Official Jackson Township email addresses use the domain “@jacksontwpyork.org”. When reviewing a message, check the full sender address rather than relying only on the displayed name.
The Jackson Township Sewer Authority accepts online payments through our third party Municipay. A link to Municipay can be found on the Jackson Township Website at https://jacksontwpyork.org
