Description
The Council of the Borough of Avalon announces there is currently one (1) vacancy on the Civil Service Board. The Council is accepting letters of interest from qualified Avalon residents to serve out the remainder of a term that ends December 31, 2027. Interested persons should fill out the vacancy application (available at the Borough Building and on the Borough of Avalon’s website, boroughofavalon.org). Applications should be submitted along with a letter of interest and current resume to the Borough Manager via email (lmakatura@boroughofavalon.org), mail, or personal delivery to the Avalon Borough Building, 640 California Avenue, Avalon, PA 15202 on or before 4:00 pm, Friday, August 7, 2026.
The Civil Service Commission meets in the Avalon Borough Council Chambers as needed.
