The Borough of Avalon announces they currently have (1) vacancy on the Joint Planning Commission. The Borough of Avalon Council is accepting letters of interest from qualified Avalon residents to serve a three (3) year term that will end December 31, 2029. Interested persons should fill out the vacancy application, available at the Borough Building and on the Borough of Avalon’s website, boroughofavalon.org. Applications should be submitted along with a letter of interest and current resume to the Borough Manager via email (lmakatura@boroughofavalon.org), mail, or personal delivery to the Avalon Borough Building, 640 California Avenue, Avalon, PA 15202 on or before 4:00 pm, Friday, August 7, 2026.
The Joint Planning Commission meets at Avalon Borough Council Chambers at 7:00 pm on the fourth Monday of each month.
