Description
East Donegal Township has received reports of individuals going door-to-door attempting to solicit homeowners for home improvement projects and solar installation services.
Residents are encouraged to use caution when approached by anyone offering these or similar services. Before signing any agreements or providing personal information, please do your due diligence by researching the company, verifying credentials, and obtaining multiple estimates when appropriate.
If you are approached by a solicitor, you may also contact Susquehanna Regional Police Department's non-emergency phone number at (717) 426-1164, to verify whether the individual has a valid solicitation permit as this is REQUIRED by the Township.
