Individuals should make informed decisions about outdoor activities based on local conditions at the time.
During a Code Purple Air Quality Alert, all residents should avoid prolonged or strenuous outdoor activities. Sensitive groups including children, older adults, and individuals with respiratory or heart conditions, should avoid all outdoor activities. Residents are encouraged to move activities indoors whenever possible.
